This easy-to-grow annual is such a pollinator friendly plant. It smells like oregano, they are great in bouquets and they dry beautifully. Pale-purple blooms fade to greenish-silver at the tips.

Germination Instructions: Sow indoors and 2mm deep into moist well-drained seed compost. The seeds are small so use a seed tray to sow. Lightly cover with compost or vermiculite. Ideal germination temp of 18- 20°C. Germination takes 10-24 days. Transplant seedlings once large enough to handle to 8cm pots and grow on. Harden off and plant out after danger of frost has passed with 30-60cm spacing depending on the situation. Can be sown directly in autumn where they are to flower for the following year.

Growing Instructions: Prefers a moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Can be a short-lived perennial but usually grown as an annual as it can not be relied upon to return!
