When to sow : Can be sown late summer/autumn and in early Spring to flower the same year.

Germination Instructions

Sow seeds indoors onto moist well-drained seed compost. Cover lightly with vermiculite. Ideal temp. 18-22°C. Germination takes 21-28 days but can be erratic. Once seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to 8cm pots. Harden off and plant out once danger of frost has passed with 30cm spacing. Can be divided in Spring.

This is a native wildflower with delicate green stems which with pale green balloon-like pods with a flush of blush. As the small pods they have snow white petals at their tips. They bloom from June through till September if you continually pick. Has a long vase life of a week and can be cut at all stages. Grows to a height of 60cm.
