MYOSOTIS sylvestris tall mixed

yr old seeds

More commonly known as Forget me Not or Scorpion Grasses. It is usually grown as a biennial , with grey-green leaves and loose clusters of abundant bright pale-blue, fragrant flowers with a yellow eye emerging from deep-pink buds. Good for pollinators. This is a mix of colours. Lots of contradictory information as to whether it is a perennial or if it is an excellent self-seeder!

Sow: May, June, September.

Germination Instructions: Surface sow into trays onto moist well-drained seed compost. Press seeds lightly into the soil cover with soil as darkness is needed for germination. Temp for germination is 20oc and may take up to 30 days. Can be sown directly where they are to flower after danger of frost has passed. Can be sown under glass in Sep. for overwintering and germination the following spring.

Growing Instructions : Will grow in any soil in full or partial sun. Water a little until established. Requires little attention

Cultivation Instructions

A biennial plant which self-seeds freely so appears as a perennial. Pull up plants once flowering has finished to restrict spread.

Seed Count: Approx 150
