This would be a very pretty beautiful mix of flowers! Its not a wildflower mix (I will have wildflower mixes in February) but more one for cut flowers. I plan to sow a packet into a square metre raised bed and also directly into the soil in another area. The joy will be in discovering what is flowering and the amount of pollinators it attracts!

When to sow: March– June

Flowers : June to October and then the biennials the following year.

How to grow: This is a mix of annual flowers and herbs specifically formulated to attract and benefit butterflies. Sow at a rate of 1-3grams per metre squared, broadcast the seed for a meadow look and rake lightly to ensure the seed is covered. Alternatively you can sow 1.5mm in depth in neat rows 30cm apart and thin as the seedlings appear.  Sow March to June for flowering June to October. Ensure the ground is clear from grass and well prepared before sowing.
