Bupleurum rotundifolium QIS Griffithill

Sale - seeds are two years old so free!

This variety of wildflower Hare's-ear is a great filler for bouquets. The leaves have in summer yellowish-green flowers that remind me of a mini delicate Euphorbia. It can be direct sown.

Germination Instructions : Direct sow where they are to flower. Surface sow onto prepared soil. Do not cover seeds as they need light to germinate. Water well. Germination can takes 7-14 days but can be erratic. When large enough to handle thin seedlings to 30cm/40cm spacing. Can be started earlier in a cold frame.

Growing Instructions : Likes well-drained soil in full sun. Keep soil moist but do not over water. Do not over fertilise as this will lead to excessive leaf growth. It grew very well here with very little attention.

When to Sow : March to June

Seed count: 150 seeds
