Cut Flower Garden Workshop - Saturday August 29th 2026
Dahlias and Autumn Themed!
Time: 10am - 1pm
Location: Bell Meadow, Tullow, Co. Carlow.

Welcome to a half day workshop at Bell Meadow
This is a half day workshop for anyone interested in creating their own cut flower patch and seeing what flowers are blooming in Autumn and what preparation is going on for 2027
Over tea/coffee and cakes we will talk through the principles of a cut flower garden and how to plan for a good supply of flowers for your home or maybe for gifting to family and friends.
You will receive hardy annual seeds so you can sow some yourself for flowers in 2027.
Then we will have a walk around and cut some flowers. We have annual beds, perennial beds, a raised bed garden as well as trees and shrubs. Our three polytunnels and greenhouse will all be walked through to demonstrate and also to cut flowers from.
And then an opportunity to create a bouquet, by yourself or with guidance.
Perfect for anyone growing flowers and who want an abundance of flowers from their own cut garden as well as people who want to get growing. It will be an enjoyable morning out with other flower obsessed people!
