Time: 10am - 3pm
Location: Bell Meadow, Tullow, Co. Carlow.
Cost : Euro150 (Deposit is Euro20 and Euro130 due the week of the Workshop)
From market bouquets to wedding bouquets, this is a day for learning and practical experience.
I will talk and demonstrate a number of techniques to make a simple bouquet to gift and then move onto wedding bouquets, from classic handtied to the more wilder style. I’ll talk through what flowers are in season when and about colour and shapes that can make up a beautiful bouquet.
There will be buckets of blooms already cut and ready for use but we will also walk outside and choose more blooms so that you can make bouquets to suit your own taste. There will be guidance given on how and when to harvest.
We will all do a simple market bouquet and then have a light lunch.
After lunch we will make a bridal bouquet to suit your own style. And I will show you how to tie and add ribbons, ensuring the bouquet is bridal ready!
You will leave with your creations and a presentation to help guide you going forward.
Should be a floral day filled with learning and fun in a relaxed atmosphere.
